Eat That Frog!: 21 Great Ways to Stop Procrastinating and Get More Done in Less Time,

by Brian Tracy

The first time someone recommended this book, I didn’t buy it, thinking How could a book with a title like that be any good? But Kristen Lamb mentioned this little gem recently http://warriorwriters.wordpress.com/, and since she is some kind of genius, I ordered it immediately.

I’ve probably heard Tracy’s advice hundreds of times, but having it condensed in this tidy little book might be just what I need to encorporate its wisdom into my life.

After a shaky start, Mr. Mailer had my full attention. A fictionalized biography of Adolph Hitler: his heritage, childhood, and adolescence as told by “a devil,” it provides some insight into the adage “There but for the grace of God, go I.” No. I’m not saying anyone born in Hitler’s place would have followed his path. But if Adolph had been fortunate enough to have had a gentler start, who knows?

  1. A friend includes snippets of EAT THAT FROG! in her emails, and since it’s a little book, I think I’ve gotten most of the helpful points. Or maybe my friend’s personal anecdotes have spiced it up a bit. But I totally agree with THE CASTLE IN THE FOREST and the questions it poses!
